This is probably my all-time favorite summer treat. Okay, maybe not my all-time favorite because there’s just so many delicious summer time treats out there, but this is definitely in my top ten. There is this restaurant called, Hampton Chutney down the street from my previous apartment in New York City which served these incredible dosas, cardamom coffees, iced chai teas, and these amazing, seasonal, fresh fruit lassis. Their lassis are delicious and definitely worth trying the next time you’re in the area.
So this version is definitely not as rich and sweet, but it’s equally delicious and very much reminiscent of the mango lassis served at Hampton Chutney. It’s probably a little lighter and healthier, too.
