Toddler Crafts: Another Panda

I mentioned in this previous post that my daughter is currently obsessed with pandas. We’ve made quite a few already, so it was not a surprise when she asked to make another one. 🙂

This time, we used various bowls and cups from the kitchen to cut out the body, head, and ears. My daughter helped me trace around the bowls and cups with a pencil (which she loved) prior to cutting the shapes out myself. Then I quickly cut out legs, arms, and the black patches for the eyes.

After that, we pulled out her glue stick (I buy these in bulk from Amazon) and she quickly went to work. She had a couple questions regarding placement of the arms and legs, but more like asking for confirmation of placement. Leg here? So, I put the question back on her to decide. Where do you think we should put them?

Aside from the tracing, the project came together very quickly. From start to finish, we were done in less than 20 minutes. It’s a quick and fun project. Especially if you  have a toddler who is obsessed with pandas and glue sticks. 😉
